COVID-19 UPDATE

During these times, Relief Scientists is still operating and shipping orders to customers! This is a difficult time for everyone and we're working hard to adapt to this new reality!

There is nothing to worry about! We are shipping and operating as normal since we are an online based brand. Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of everyone in the Relief Scientists community - our customers, our team and our partners. We constantly make sure that all appropriate health and hygiene standards are adhered to. This is our top priority and we will be closely monitoring this situation for any updates to maintain appropriate policies.

Be prepared for delays! BUT, the wait is worth it. We're offering a sale to customers during these times + free, trackable, and insured shipping.

Our fulfillment times will be longer than usual, and may continue to increase until things get back to normal. The entire industry is grappling with challenges and we're seeing delays in our supply chain, including distributors and shipping carriers.

We're closely communicating with our partners make sure they can supply us with adequate stock levels. We're also glad to report that we're seeing a surge in orders, which means people are loving Very Crate! We appreciate your patience and support during crazy times like these!

Even Amazon has expressed that it's experiencing delays of up to 1 month!

LATEST UPDATE

We made the decision to temporarily use a slightly slower USPS line and Canada Post line. This is to help our fulfilment teams prioritise regular orders and keep up with the high demand. This is also so we can keep the costs of shipping low for our customers. Due to the disruption in supply chain of the whole industry, many businesses including ours are experiencing delays in fulfilment and shipments.

Orders from March may experience a delay from a 8-12 working day delivery timeframe to 20-21 working days.

We know that shipping times + costs are important in this day and age, so that's why this is a short-term policy change until things go back to normal.

We're experiencing an increase in orders and newly registered customers similar to levels we see during Black Friday Cyber Monday. We usually prepare for Cyber Week months in advance and spend weeks training additional staff. With social distancing and shelter-at-home measures in place, we can't scale up as quickly as we can during our peak season.

People are adjusting to new routines and returning to ecommerce, and weeks-long delays are being felt industry-wide. Our team is determined to keep doing their best and catch up with the order volume. We've been increasing our capacity, looking for more facilities, carefully resuming hiring, and investing in fulfilment. We appreciate that you're with us.
